Koalisi Seni is a leading organization advocating for arts policy in Indonesia. We conduct studies, disseminate knowledge, and provide consultation on arts policy. We act as a liaison between stakeholders in the arts ecosystem. Our work aims to realize artistic freedom for artists and all of us.

We pushed for the enactment of Law No. 5 of 2017 concerning the Advancement of Culture, advocated for the Draft Music Law in 2019, and were involved in the development of the Indonesian Cultural Strategy. The Arts Coalition also actively advocated for an arts endowment fund, leading to the launch of the Cultural Endowment Fund in early 2022 by the government.
